Judges Study 6-12
Part II of Judges: No King in the Land

Booklet: Judges 6-12

Judges 1-5
As a book Judges contains some of the most dramatic and disturbing stories in the Bible (the account of the Levite's concubine in chapter 19 for example) as well as some of the most well known (the stories of Gideon or Samson and Delilah for example). We will be faced with tough ethical dilemmas, deal with the ugliest of atrocities, and enter the uncomfortable world of "holy war". The important question, "can that really be right?" will become very familiar to us as we go.

Three Things
The purpose with this series however is to remind us once again of the three main points we will need to pass when leading someone to salvation. Hopefully this brief bird's eye view of the main points of the Gospel will serve as a strong foundation.

New Directions
Understanding where we are going, what we are for, what our purpose is as a church is basic to the good health of the church and its members (you and me). In this study we are thinking about those purposes. What is the church for? Where ought we to be going as a church? Why are we here?

Reality Check - Colossians
To provide a "reality check" to remind us that authentic spiritual growth is centred on Christ alone, and to invite us to put him first in our lives so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
