Here is a summary of what we believe:
We believe that the Bible is the written word of God in which He makes all things known which are necessary to live with Him forever. For this reason, the Bible is the source of all we believe and do.

We believe in the Holy Trinity which is holy and merciful.

We believe that all people are sinners by nature, are guilty in God's sight, and are totally unable to save themselves from God's displeasure, and His punishment for sin, namely eternal death. It doesn’t matter how hard we try, we will never be able to save ourselves which means we are totally dependent on God’s mercy.

We believe that this salvation is the work of God alone. He sovereignly chooses whom He will save. We believe that His choice is based solely on His grace, not on any merit found in his people, their foreseen faith, or their religious activity.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death as the substitute and representative of his people, atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him alone for salvation.

We believe that the only way to acceptance with God for all people is by God's grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. We believe that God is gracious and faithful to His people not simply as individuals but as families in successive generations according to His covenant promises.

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God's people and enables them to trust Christ and follow Him.

We believe that having come to saving faith in Christ, believers can never be lost, but persevere to the end, being kept by the power of God and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the church is the covenant community of God and the sphere within which the grace of God is available to all, through the preaching and teaching of the Bible, and the administration of the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

We believe that Jesus will return at the last day, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.

We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. This is why we focus on worshipping God, supporting our fellow believers and reaching out to the world with the Gospel.

Our faith is worded more fully in the following creeds:

  1. The Belgic Confession
  2. The Heidelberg Catechism
  3. Canons of Dordt
  4. Westminster Confession of Faith

What we believe

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth,

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;
Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell.
The third day He arose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
